TENNIS – ATV De Hertenkamp from Assen has been elected association of the year by the KNLTB.
According to the jury, the tennis and padel club is a source of inspiration for other associations. The tennis association appreciates the special offer for asylum seekers and refugees.
The association also participates in the Social Service Time Sports, where youth can gain experience as volunteers.
The park, the courts and the club building also received compliments. They have been completely renovated in recent years. The membership has doubled from 400 to 800 members.
The title earns De Hertenkamp 1,000 euros and a trophy.
