Attention Zoetermeer runners! You cannot take the train to The Hague during the City Pier City Loop

Attention runners and encouraging friends and family: ProRail will be working on the tracks at The Hague Central Station for a number of weekends in March. One of the days when no trains run to and from The Hague CS is Sunday, March 10: the day of the City Pier City Loop 2024.

ProRail will be working on the tracks and platforms of The Hague Central Station in March. That is why there are no trains between The Hague Laan van NOI and The Hague Central Station on March 2 and 3 and from March 9 to 13. On the weekend of March 9 and 10, there will be no trains at all to and from The Hague Central Station.

Many travelers will experience inconvenience, especially during the second weekend of the work. Thousands of runners will travel to The Hague on Sunday, March 10 for the City Pier City Loop. Runners who come by train are recommended to travel to Laan van NOI station or to Hollands Spoor and from there take the bus or train to the Malieveld.

Fortunately, we have a very good alternative in Zoetermeer: ​​take tram 3 or 4 from Zoetermeer and you will be at The Hague Central Station within half an hour. Please take into account extra crowds on the tram. We wish you lots of running fun!
