Attention Shopaholics! A candy store selling jewelry is opening in Zoetermeer

Nathalie Vissers’ dream comes true: she will soon open her new jewelry store in the Dorpsstraat. Zoetermeer residents will soon be able to buy affordable jewelry and accessories there for everyone’s budget.

Keekee’s Shop is currently still an online store, but soon you can go to the real store to browse all the jewelry, shawls, sunglasses and more. According to Nathalie, you can succeed with a budget between 5 and 30 euros.

From Ibiza Market to a physical store

You may know Nathalie from her online store or with her stall at one of the summer markets in Rijswijk or Scheveningen. You can also meet her regularly during the Ladies Night in the Zoetermeer cinema. “I started a jewelry webshop in 2015. In the back of my mind I always had a secret wish for a store. Soon it will really happen!”

Candy store for ladies

Nathalie calls her store a candy store for women. “I sometimes miss the old-fashioned way of shopping. I used to visit V&D often and I loved discovering new things there. I want to bring that feeling back to my own business. It will be full of all kinds of jewelry for everyone’s wallet. But also hair clips, bags, shawls, wallets, key rings and jewelry displays.”

In the coming period you will meet Nathalie in the store six days a week. Then she slowly adds staff and new ideas. Such as a special corner for men and children. “I plan to make jewelry for children myself and perhaps, at a later date, also organize workshops.”

Daughter Cailin

If you’re wondering where the name Keekee’s comes from: it was coined by Nathalie’s daughter. “Her name is Cailin, and when she was little she couldn’t pronounce her own name very well. She made it Keekee, simply pronounced in Dutch. That gave me the idea for the name of my own business.”

Nathalie wants to open the doors of Keekee’s Shop in Dorpsstraat in mid-March. The first 25 paying customers will receive a goodie bag from her. Keep an eye on our site for the opening date.
