Attention: fewer sprinters between Rotterdam and Gouda for a week | NOW

In a week and a half, the NS will allow fewer sprinters to run between Rotterdam Central and Gouda Goverwelle.

Between Monday 27 June and Monday 3 July, a slow train will run between the stations mentioned every half hour. Also on a number of other routes, outside the Green Heart, fewer sprinters will be driving that week, according to the Dutch Railways.

The NS is struggling with a shortage of chief conductors, train drivers and mechanics. It was previously decided to temporarily switch back the ten-minute train on the route between Arnhem and Rotterdam (via Schiphol) to a 15-minute service from 13 June. In recent days, a number of trains were also unable to run at the last minute due to a shortage of personnel.
