Attention: false pollster on the road in Wingene

“We received a report from some residents of at least one pollster who falsely pretends to conduct a survey on behalf of the municipality,” the municipality of Wingene said. The board assures that no employees are currently engaged in a survey.

“Ask for proof”

A false door-to-door sale by the Red Cross is also going on in the municipality. “In this case too, it concerns false sellers who ask for a contribution in the name of the aid organization.”

The police have been notified. Anyone who has someone at the door and is in doubt about the authenticity can ask for proof of identity.
