In the course of the morning an attempted arson was made in Borgerhout. This is reported by the police, who received a report of a ‘loud bang’ on the Turhoutsebaan around 4 am. The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire quickly, but the building, where restaurant La Cuisine is located, was damaged by the fire.
