Attacker Zivkovic leaves FC Emmen for a club from Singapore

Richairo Zivkovic leaves FC Emmen for an adventure in Singapore. The 26-year-old attacker has signed a contract with Lion City Sailors, which has won the national title three times so far.

“I’m sure he will cause a lot of problems for our opponents,” said coach Alexander Rankovic on the Lion City Sailors website. Rankovic was assistant coach of FC Utrecht until last month. He previously worked as head coach at ADO Den Haag and as assistant coach at Sparta Rotterdam.

Born in Assen, Zivkovic went through the FC Groningen youth academy and then signed with Ajax. He also played football for Willem II and FC Utrecht, KV Oostende, CC Yatai, Sheffield United, Ghuangzhou City and Red Star Belgrade.

FC Emmen has had its replacement for a few days now: Polish striker Piotr Parzyszek came over on a free transfer from CD Leganés, which plays on the second level of Spain.

The 29-year-old Parzyszek previously played in the Netherlands for De Graafschap and PEC Zwolle.
