ATP Finals in Turin: Zverev has to play against Alcaraz and Medvedev

On the way to a possible third world championship title, Olympic tennis champion Alexander Zverev first has to survive a top-class group – he will meet shooting star Carlos Alcaraz, among others.

Olympic champion Zverev made it into the “red group” in the draw for the ATP finals in Turin with current world number two Alcaraz (Spain) at the top. The German’s other two opponents, who secured the World Cup title in 2018 and 2021, are the two Russians Daniil Medvedev and Andrej Rublew.

In the “Green Group”, industry leader Novak Djokovic from Serbia will face the Italian Jannik Sinner, the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and the Dane Holger Rune, coached by Boris Becker.

Semi-finals on November 18th, final the next day

The group stage of the ATP Finals will take place from November 12th to 17th. The best two in each of the two groups of four qualify for the semi-finals on November 18th. The next day, the grand finale takes place in front of 20,000 spectators on the hard court in the Pala Alpitour Arena in Turin, which is hosting the competition for the third time in a row.
