Racing Club stayed in a 3-3 draw at home against Tigre
River Plate and Boca Juniors are in the 12th and 13th position
Atlético Tucumán ratified its status as leader of the Argentine Professional Football League Tournamentin a day that recorded new defeats for River Plate and Boca Juniors, against Sarmiento de Junín (1-2) and Patronato de Paraná (3-0).
The team from Tucuman won 2-0 against Newell’s Old Boys on Saturdaywith goals from Ramiro Carrera and Renzo Tesuri, to reach 25 points in a classification where he was four units ahead of his immediate pursuer: Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.
The team led by Lucas Pusineri remains the only unbeaten team in the competition and, after starting the tournament with the aspirations of maintaining the category after this start is excited to dispute the first title in its history.
Gimnasia, which on Saturday beat Huracán 0-1 at home with a goal from Santiago Hezze, against its fence, is second with 21 units.
