Norah Jeruto has been suspended by the World Athletics Federation’s Independent Integrity Commission (AIU). The world champion over 3,000 meters obstacle is said to have doped.
A banned substance had been discovered in the Kenyan-born Kazakh long-distance runner, the statement said. Jeruto won gold in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the World Championships in Eugene (USA) last summer.
