Aaron Kangas collapsed in the cage of the World Championships in Eugene.
– A damn good boy for a long time, by far Finland’s strongest all-around athlete at the moment.

Kanka’s career went downhill after the opening race of the 2021 season (76.85). The average result of summer 2021 was only 72.97.

In Eugene, they went to the WC final with a result of 74.67.
– I knew in advance that 75 meters was required for the final. It would have required a pretty good performance from me to get such a spike throw in the morning qualifying.
The athlete says that there has been extra compression in his head.
– Especially last year there was pressure when there were no results. It doesn’t take much to throw a dice to go bad. It’s a lot about relaxation.
Kangas assures that the belief is to make one’s own record in the future.
– It doesn’t necessarily require just one successful exercise to start relaxed. Now I spin to the left hard, and the moukar won’t start suction. Performance must be pushed.
The man from Leisku in the Kankaanpää region has watched his top throws on video, but they haven’t been of much help.
– You might get an idea from them, but you can only think minimally during the performance.
