The Italian first division football team Atalanta Bergamo has separated from coach Ivan Juric.
The 2024 Europa League winner responded to the weak start to the season; after Sunday’s 3-0 home defeat against US Sassuolo, Bergamo is only in 13th place in Serie A.
Former Italian international Raffaele Palladino (most recently AC Fiorentina) is considered Juric’s successor.
The former Croatian international Juric (50) only inherited Atalanta’s iconic coach Gian Piero Gasperini (now AS Roma) this season.
Atalanta got off to a satisfactory start in the Champions League with seven points from four games, where the Lombards will be guests at Eintracht Frankfurt on the next matchday (November 26th).
