You may have already noticed: Lake view and van Maanen has moved to Fokkerstraat 1. Together with Remto Automaterialen they are now under one roof. Brothers Arjan and Remco Koole of Remto Automaterialen have taken over the car rental company.
The two companies joined forces last summer. Arjan Koole explains: “Meerzicht and van Maanen were at a temporary location on the Industrieweg. Unfortunately that was demolished. They were not sure whether they wanted to continue or sell the company. It ended up being the last.”
Acquisition and Partnership
The move and takeover of Meerzicht and van Maanen was a logical choice. Not only because they are in the same sector, but also because they fit well together in terms of service and activity. “The services of Meerzicht and Van Maanen fit in well with the mobility sector in which we operate,” says Arjan. “We think that adding the business activities of Meerzicht and Van Maanen is a good thing for the progress of both companies!”

With the acquisition of Meerzicht and van Maanen, Arjan and Remco have become partners with car rental company Hertz. “Hertz just sticks with it,” Arjan says proudly. “Meerzicht is a partner of Hertz. In addition to its own fleet of 15 delivery vans, Meerzicht en Van Maanen is also a Hertz dealer. “This gives the customer the choice of a wide range of rental cars and delivery vans”
Easy booking

All these wishes can be fulfilled. “With the fleet of 15 delivery vans in various sizes, there is a vehicle for every wish”, says Arjan proudly. “And because Meerzicht en Van Maanen is a Hertz dealer, you can also rent passenger cars from us. From Ford Transit to rigid and from Kia Picanto to a Polestar; through the new site it is arranged very quickly!”
