On July 7th, The Killers celebrated the live premiere of their new single “Boy”. They performed the song at the Mad Cool festival in Madrid. Watch a video of the performance here:
The Killers reunited
The Killers have already announced their new album in August 2021. During the recording of the previous album PRESSURE MACHINE, bassist Mark Stoermer had to sit out due to the pandemic. Now the four band members Brandon Flowers, Dave Brent Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci and Mark Stoermer are reunited. With “Boy” we get a first taste of the album announced by the band.
Rock ‘n’ Roll with “more energy”
The American rock band has a new vision for the upcoming album: more virtuality for more intensity. Drummer Ronnie Vannucci reveals, “We were joking around on stage for a virtual show the other day and it felt like this rock ‘n’ roll thing was happening. I could see us going in that direction: something that has a bit more energy.”
