Fifteen people were also injured in the accident, five of whom are still in critical condition. According to local authorities, the bus was carrying 45 people from Venezuela, Colombia and Central America, among others. The accident occurred on a road between the Mexican states of Oaxaca and Puebla near the city of Tehuacán. It is not clear what exactly happened.
