SHE is the mother of a real pop star and chats in the new episode of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” with moderator Günther Jauch (66) about her famous daughter.
The fact that Günther Jauch likes to chat with his candidates on “Who wants to be a millionaire” is nothing new. However, he seems to be even more interested in this woman.
Because – surprise – candidate Dagmar Sprenger-Fuchs is the mother of the famous “No Angels” singer Sandy Mölling (41) – and Jauch knows her from before.
Reminisce
Günther Jauch and his candidate talk to each other very easily, even wallowing in old memories. “Do you know where she was before?” Jauch asks the nurse, it’s about her daughter Sandy. As a matter of course, Sprenger-Fuchs replies: “With you” and smiles.
“But that was a long time ago. They were all there, we prepared a television appearance. But I think that was 20 years ago. Something like that,” the moderator recalls of his television recording with the “No Angels”.
But Jauch’s curiosity still doesn’t stop, he goes about his job and continues to eavesdrop on Sandy’s mother. “Are you proud or do you shake your head when your daughter makes such a career?” he asks.
“I have to be honest, at first it felt like someone had inserted a video and I was watching a video. But you get used to it,” says the mother of four.
Sandy’s mother is very proud of her daughter, at the reunion two years ago (the “No Angels” split up in 2014) she of course went to the concert in Berlin, gets goosebumps when she talks about this moment.
“I was at this concert and I had goosebumps. I knew they still have a lot of fans. But it was packed, they sang so that we didn’t hear some of the girls. It was unbelievable, I didn’t expect that, that there are so many again,” Dagmar enthuses about the performance of “No Angels”.
You can see how far Sandy Mölling’s mother will make it on “Who wants to be a millionaire” tonight at 8:15 p.m. on RTL.
