Asylum reception on ships turns out to be quite a challenge in practice, whether it is on the quay or at sea. The government still has quite a bit of research to do, according to inquiries. Velsen is for the time being the only municipality that sees reception on a ship at the quay, but that too is far from smooth. Elsewhere it appears that municipalities are not eager for the whoppers of ships full of asylum migrants.
