Astrid Joosten is currently doing very little to justify her mega contract with BNNVARA, according to ratings authority Tina Nijkamp. “We only see her in Two to Twelve.”
She is one of the top earners of the NPO, but works remarkably few hours: Astrid Joosten. According to Tina Nijkamp, she is currently only doing the program Twee voor Twaalf and you can easily record several episodes per recording day. For her mega salary, Astrid only has to set her alarm for a few weeks a year.
Two tons
Tina, the main source of viewing figures, thinks it’s getting a bit crazy. “It is true that we actually only see Astrid Joosten in Twee voor Twaalf. Well, that’s actually quite strange, because I think she has a full-time contract,” she says in the podcast Tina’s TV Update.
What does Astrid earn? “She once said that she earns 175 thousand euros a year. Well, with some inflation added, that will now be around 195 thousand euros per year.”
Substantial income
Astrid makes a lot of money per episode of Twee voor Twaalf, Tina explains. “That means that Astrid Joosten receives 6,500 euros per episode – there are thirty per year. Well, that’s certainly easy work, because of course she doesn’t record one episode a day, but a few a day.”
And so Astrid earns tens of thousands of euros per working day. “People always complain about the Balkenende standard, which they don’t like much – well, that is of course a lot – but if it is possible to earn 6,500 euros per episode, then of course everyone wants that…”
