Associations stop fighting for the preservation of the old swimming pool in Ostend

Both associations, which fought against the demolition of the swimming pool hall for 5 years, are very disappointed in the city council.

The old swimming pool will not be converted into a multi-purpose city hall and the demolition may be coming very soon. Dement and Archipel believe that they did everything they could to save what they consider to be an architecturally valuable building. They now choose not to pursue further proceedings.
