Berlin (dpa) – After the absence of coach Felix Magath due to the corona, Hertha BSC was also missing his assistant Mark Fotheringham.
The Scots have back problems, as the club confirmed. The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported on it. The training was led by offensive coach Vedad Ibisevic and athletic coaches Henrik Kuchno and Werner Leuthard.
Already on Saturday, when Fotheringham stood on the sidelines in the 3-0 home win against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and energetically cheered on the team again and again, he was said to have had the complaints.
Goalkeeper Rune Jarstein returned to team training after a long break. The recently injured Stevan Jovetic initially did not travel to the Montenegrin national team and will train with the team, Hertha said on Twitter.
Magath had told the TV broadcaster Bild on Sunday that he hoped to return to the training ground on Thursday after his positive corona test. The Berliners jumped back to the relegation place with their first win this year. Because of the international break, the next Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen is not until April 2nd.
