Beşiktaş football players sent aid workers and materials to the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake region, which is described as the “disaster of the century”.
In the statement made by the black and white club, it was reported that the football players sent a special plane carrying AFAD, AKUT, Turkish Red Crescent and paramedics, as well as heater, radio equipment, medicine and food supplies to Gaziantep, where the disaster was effective.
It was reported that the plane returned to Istanbul after the evacuation of the personnel and aid materials at Gaziantep Airport, taking the earthquake victims.
