Asmo has lived on the island for more than 70 years – Only one experience has driven him to the city

In the last episode of Tervo & Halme in search of true Finnishness, we meet Asmo, who is rooted to the island.

Jari Tervon and Jani Halmeen the adventure across the country is coming to an end: in today’s episode, we are looking for true Finnishness for the last time. The purpose is to find out exactly what Finnish summertime is really about.

In the episode, the duo will visit, among other things Asmo Family Man by. The family man lives in the archipelago among summer cottages.

Some degree of self-sufficiency is useful in isolation. The family man grows potatoes, root vegetables and berries himself.

The island is also at the mercy of unpredictable weather. The Family Guy had never run away, however, before the previous winter.

At that time, winter had come in one fell swoop. Over the course of two days, huge amounts of snow had accumulated, and the snow blower broke.

– I took the cat under my arm and moved to the city for a week. Couldn’t do anything. It was horrible, the family man laughs.

Tervo asks with a smile if it was the first time that the Family Man had to leave his island for evacuation.

– It was the first time in 72 years, he answers.
