Some of the ashes of Star Trek actress Nichelle Nichols will go into space. The American actress, who became famous for her role as Lieutenant Uhura in the Star Trek franchise, died last month at the age of 89. According to entertainment website TMZ, the ash will be added to the payload of a Vulcan rocket launched later this year.
