Salzburg right-back Rasmus Kristensen for many years is moving from Premier League relegated Leeds United to Europa League finalists AS Roma. The Giallorossi announced the signing of the 26-year-old Dane on a year-long loan on Friday night. According to media reports, the deal does not include a purchase option or obligation.

Kristensen, who is the second Leeds professional after centre-back Diego Llorente (29; arrived in January) to be loaned out by Roma, is under contract with the Whites until 2027. Leeds had signed him from Red Bull Salzburg a year ago for 13 million euros, where he had previously increased his market value to up to 15 million euros. In the relegation season, the national player was one of the regulars, apart from a phase between January and March, in 30 competitive games he scored three goals and prepared one.
