AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho’s two-game ban has been suspended.
The Italian Football Federation’s Court of Appeal wants more time to examine the background to the dispute between the Portuguese and fourth official Marco Serra in the match between Cremonese and Roma (1-2) last Tuesday. This was announced by the association.
Mourinho will therefore be able to sit on the coaching bench of the capital club in the top game against Juventus on Sunday evening. The Portuguese is said to have called the fourth official a “liar”.
He was initially suspended for two games and fined 10,000 euros.
