German referee Felix Zwayer and his team for the club World Cup has been nominated this summer. The Berliner belongs to the 35 Refereethat should be used at the tournament in the USA (June 14th to July 13th).
This emerges from a communication by the FIFA World Federation Association on Monday. Christian Dietz and Robert Kempter were selected as assistants, and Bastian Dankert (Rostock) is there as a video assistant.

A total of 117 game officials, including 35 referees, 58 assistants and 24 video assistants, will lead the games from 41 FIFA member associations.
Zwayer (43) has been a FIFA referee since 2012. He was appointed as a video assistant for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and at the 2024 European Championship in Germany he headed four games.
