100 games in the principality
AS Monaco and right-back Ruben Aguilar are extending their collaboration: the 29-year-old has signed a new working paper with the club in the Principality, which is dated until 2025. Originally, Aguilar’s contract would have expired in the summer of 2024.
The defender moved from Montpellier to Monaco in 2019 for €8m and has played 100 games (10 goals, 3 assists) for the club since then. “I am very happy to continue the adventure with AS Monaco and thank the club for the trust they have placed in me. I’m starting my fourth season here and I still have the same desire every day to bring my qualities and my motivation to the team. We have great challenges ahead of us this season and we will tackle them all together with ambition.”
