US President Joe Biden has won the primaries of his Democratic Party in South Carolina, US media report. CNN and other channels declared Biden the winner when less than ten percent of the votes had been counted. The president was then well ahead of his opponents, politician Dean Phillips and author Marianne Williamson, with just under 97 percent.
