As CEO, Xatar advocates for the legalization of cannabis

Germany’s largest cannabis company Bloomwell Group and the rapper Giwar Hajabi, aka Xatar start a collaboration. As Chief Viral Officer, Hajabi will be committed to helping cannabis reach the heart of modern society.

Objective: End cannabis defamation

The rapper and the entrepreneur want to work together in the future to ensure that Cannabis got a better reputation. The aim is that cannabis users in Germany no longer have to suffer from prejudice.

“I’ve seen for myself how cannabis helps people on the fringes of society, but also in meritocracy, to deal with pressure. Anyone who consumes cannabis is not a criminal, nor should they have to explain themselves to third parties or be cornered. I will work with Bloomwell to ensure that cannabis is perceived as an integral part of our society and culture,” says Xatar.

Half of the population can imagine buying cannabis legally

According to a representative survey, 85 percent of the 1,100 respondents rate a cannabis ban as critical. In addition, around half of those surveyed could imagine buying cannabis in legal specialty shops in the future. In addition, around two thirds of the participants believe that almost everyone in society can be a cannabis user. However, only 19 percent said cannabis had already entered the mainstream.

Niklas Kouparanis, CEO and co-founder of the Bloomwell Group, is excited about the cooperation: “We are proud that we were able to engage a personality like Giwar in our mission to bring cannabis into the mainstream as our brand ambassador. A paradigm shift in the social perception and regulation of cannabis consumption was heralded not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. The cannabis decade has begun and Giwar has shown, both as a musician and entrepreneur, that he is not afraid to stand up for his rock-solid beliefs and is able to break down walls in our minds due to his strong presence on various platforms.”

Rapper Xatar opened international record label in 2021

Xatar started a record company in 2021. The project is called Goldmann Music. It is an international indie label with major ambitions. As Xatar itself has already asserted, the label from Cologne does not concentrate exclusively on marketing and distributing music. The focus is much more on entertainment in general. According to their own statements, this also includes fields such as comedy and film. Xatar promises that he wants to offer his artists everything that big major labels offer, “from long-term career planning to crisis and scandal management.”
