Artillery strikes against illegal armed formations were practiced at the Osipovichisky training ground as part of the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises “Allied Resolve – 2022”. About it reported on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The troops of the eastern military district took part in the exercises from Russia. Target reconnaissance and fire control was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles.
“During the tactical episode, the crews of multiple launch rocket systems marched to the designated areas, quickly occupied unprepared firing positions and fired a salvo at the area where the illegal armed formation was concentrated,” the report says.

The second stage of the Russian-Belarusian military exercises began on February 10. According to the Ministry of Defense, the purpose of these exercises is to work out the tasks of “stopping and repelling external aggression” during a defensive operation, “countering terrorism and protecting the interests of the Union State.”
