Paul McCartney clarified in his tweet that artificial intelligence has not created a new Beatles song.
A musician legend Paul McCartney wants to clear up some confusion about an upcoming Beatles song. According to McCartney, nothing about the song was created by artificial intelligence, not even the deceased John Lennon’s singing.
– We’ve seen confusion and speculation about it, McCartney said on Twitter.
– It seems that there are a lot of guesses.

Last week, McCartney said in an interview with the BBC that a new song from The Beatles will be released this year, which will also feature Lennon’s vocals.
Although McCartney explained to the BBC that the AI was only used to lift Lennon’s vocals from a late 70s demo, many internet commentators expressed outrage that McCartney was using AI to create Lennon.
– I can’t say too much at this point, but for the sake of clarity, nothing has been created with artificial intelligence. It’s all real and we all play in it. We cleaned up some existing recordings, McCartney writes.
Although McCartney did not reveal the song, it is expected to be Lennon’s 1978 composition Now and Then.
The song was already considered for release in 1995, when The Beatles Anthology series was compiled.
The two songs on that cassette, Free as a Bird and Real Love, were released in the Anthology collection. They were The Beatles’ “new” songs for the first time in 25 years.
