The young Artem plays Pino, known as ‘O Pazz, one of the characters of the phenomenon series Sea Outside (the fourth season is on Rai Play and from 14 February on Rai 2), focusing on the events of the inmates and staff of an imaginary juvenile prison in Naples. Born in 2000 in Ukraine but raised in Campania, he was invited to the Giffoni Film Festival: for the occasion he told us, with the genuineness that distinguishes him, the vicissitudes he experienced in the neighborhoods of Naples with his Fiat Panda bought at the age of 18 and his dream car: a Rolls Royce. However, he made his debut at the age of 12 behind the wheel of a tractor.

Artem what was your first car?
”A Fiat Panda, but I learned to drive at 12 on a tractor. At 16 I drove my mother’s car and at 18 I bought the Panda. I’ve always had a weakness for cars: you know when you come from nothing, you have the desire for a nice car. I had a thing for Mercedes. At 20 I realized my dream and bought it. Now I have a Gla”.

Why do you like Mercedes?
“For the design and performance. Mine is a satin midnight blue. In the evening, however, it looks black. It’s beautiful! I must say that I also like the BMW X6 and the M series.”

Do you like speed?
“Yes, of course, but I’m careful with the pedal,” he laughs.

The first car was a Panda. What memories do you have?
”I did everything with that car. I even went through trouble (laughs, ed). I went around my neighborhood and around Naples. I was a tramp with friends.”

Do you have a dream car?
”The Rolls Royce. If you buy a car like that it means you’ve reached the top. What more do you want?”.

Do you follow Formula 1?
”No, I’m not a fan, but I like Hamilton. I follow him on Instagram”, he smiles.

If you were to take a trip where would you go?
”In the United States, in California in Las Vegas. I would rent one of those huge typical American Fords or a Cadillac and do the coast to coast. Some of my friends have done it and told me it’s a great experience.”
