During this weekend, December 3 and 4, the Green house (Finocchietto 630), will open its doors from 4 to 8 pm to a art fairand with the presence of 10 visual artists who offer their small format works. An opportunity to start living with art at home.
Open talks will be held between artists, gallery owners and collectors. In a food court, visitors will be able to enjoy the dishes of bondi (“phlashera” food), and beer from brew sistersjuices and other drinks.
The artists that will participate in the fair are Ileana hochmann, Rita Simoni, Dietmar Jäkel, Eugenia Baro, Patricia Ackerman, Sandra Ciccioli, Cristina Martinelli, María Lamas, Luis Timisky, Ana Efronand as a special guest, Juan Andrés Videla.
Ileana Hochman, granddaughter of Russians born in Argentina, lived a large part of her life in Rio de Janeiro. Her work began with the generation of contemporary artists of Tropicalism who renewed Latin American Culture in the 1970s, breaking with foreign structures in search of their own identity.
Rita Simoni intervenes spaces and residual objects through different resources. Color, photography, painting, design and drawing, the sculptural object or the specific site allow him to synthesize, between analogies and opposites, the possibility of the resilient as an alchemy of vital power.
Patricia Ackermann He offers his street photography, with his particular way of observing people involved in their world, popular gatherings, and theater photography. “I’m still searching, perhaps now in a more conceptual way, interested in a work on the origin, the body, the house, the journey we are embarking on,” she explains.
