Arsenal beat West Ham 3–1 at home.

Arsenal received a rare guest of honor for the Boxing Day league match, when the managerial legend who left the club in the spring of 2018 Arsene Wenger sat down in the Emirates VIP enclosure.
It was the Frenchman’s first visit after his departure. In the opening period, however, it seemed to bring only bad luck, when local rival West Ham ran away to take the lead at the break Said Benrahman with a penalty kick.
In the second period, Wenger’s Karma caught the players of the home team as well. First Bukayo Saka leveled the match after turning it over by Martin Ødegaard as a pass to himself for an unsuccessful shot.
Just five minutes later Granit Xhaka found Gabriel Martinelli on the wing. The 21-year-old brass set his sights on the ball-sized opening in the Hammers’ varsity by Lukasz Fabiański and between the post.
A strong pull came in from the front corner.

Finally, the home win was secured when Eddie Nketiah spun off by Thilo Kehrer of pliers. The Englishman certainly bombed the 3-1 home victory numbers into the back corner.
The Gunners’ victory strengthened the team’s position as the number one in the Premier League. The nearest challenger, Manchester City, will not play their match in the round until Wednesday.
