The math was pretty straightforward before Arsenal’s second-last game of the season.

The gunners would remain in the driver’s seat in the battle for the final Champions League ranking only with a away win over Newcastle. A loss or draw would give a clear advantage to Tottenham, who also has a drastically better goal difference than their local competitor.

Manager Mikel Artetan the pressures have recently erupted in special raptures. Now your Basque had to reassemble both himself and his injuries and Rob Holdingin a no-vaccination line.

Newcastle, who left without a bet, could harass Arsenal right from the start. The North London ship sank definitively in the second period, during which Harakat escaped a 2-0 home win.

The profit hit came in a downright embarrassing way. Portuguese package Nuno Tavares collapsed into the wrong side-throw, which is simply incomprehensible to a professional player. Newcastle’s counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul Ben White guided the ball to his own goal.

Arsenal were two more laps ago in a safe-feeling four points ahead of Tottenham.

Since then, however, the league points have gone 6-0 in favor of the Spurs. Tottenham go into the final round, knowing that Norwich, who has already secured their draw, is enough for the Champions League football.

Newcastle’s winning numbers were eventually recorded as 2-0 because Bruno Guimarães enjoyed the end numbers on an empty grid five minutes before the end.
