Confirms Olga Louzao as a candidate in Lugo and trusts that the party will be “decisive” for the municipal elections in Galicia
The president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, has assured this Saturday that the process of refounding the party is in a phase of “talking about ideas” and “political proposals”. “Soon we will enter the candidacy stage,” he added, ahead of the Congress that will be held on January 13, 14 and 15.
Speaking to the media during a visit to LugoArrimadas, who has not yet announced whether he intends to revalidate his leadership at the head of the orange formation, has stated that this next conclave will be “a turning point”, because “Spain deserves a center and liberal project”.
In addition, accompanied by the coordinator of Cs in Galicia and municipal spokesperson in Lugo, Olga Louzaohas also focused on the fact that the Galician Community “needs this new stage and this project as a catalyst”, because it is a party “that promotes reforms”, that is “brave” and, “above all, that says the same thing in Galicia than in Madrid”.
In this context, he has accused both the PP and the PSOE of affirming in Galicia that there is no good regional financing system while “then in Congress” they vote “in favor of the Basque quota, which is an injustice and which means that later territories like Galicia do not have the same opportunities”.
In front of popular and socialists, Arrimadas has assured that Cs says “the same” everywhere and has a project for the whole of Spain”. “Galicia deserves much more. The young people of Galicia deserve more opportunities and Ciudadanos is going to be key in many cities in the municipal ones so that this is possible”, has sentenced Arrimadas.
