an agent of the National Police that was out of service has arrested in the Valencian town of Sagunto a 24-year-old man, of Colombian origin, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of bad treatments in the family sphere and attack on an agent of authorityafter observing that he was assaulting his partner on public roads.
The events took place on half past four in the morning on an avenue in Sagunt, when an agent free of service, who was at home, heard a strong argument that was taking place in the street, and looking out he saw a man slapping and throwing a woman to the ground which he followed hitting.

The agents found out that the woman and the now detained man had been a couple for quite some time, and that the latter, after drinking, would have become violent with her. For all of the above, the man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of ill-treatment in the family and attack on a law enforcement officer.
The off duty agent was injured in the face, elbows, knees and arms being treated at a health center. The arrested, with a police record, has gone to court.
