A police arrest team arrested a man in New Amsterdam at the end of the afternoon. According to a police spokesman, the man showed confused behavior on the street and threw stones. He then entrenched himself in a house on Van Ekelenburgstraat.
After the police arrived at the scene after reports from local residents and the suspect refused to come out, an arrest team was summoned. The man was eventually arrested in the home.
