The police arrested someone yesterday for an argument that got out of hand in a car on the A28. The car was put on the hard shoulder near Spier and the suspect took off.
According to a local police officer, a report was received in the middle of the morning that an argument was going on in a car. “This quarrel also involved 3 small children,” she writes on Instagram. “A person has caused a dangerous situation on the road and for the occupants. This person then ran off on foot.”

Officers then went after the road pirate. A police helicopter was also used in the pursuit. The fugitive was eventually arrested and taken to the station. The children from the car were also taken to the office, where they were treated to sandwiches while tinkering.
