Arno cancels concert 15 March in AB
On Tuesday 15 March, the Ostend singer would perform for the last time in a sold-out Ancienne Belgique, but now Arno has to cancel. His health problems may have something to do with it, although the cause is not yet clear. The Ostend singer has been battling pancreatic cancer since November 2019.
lifetime achievement award
Last Sunday, Arno was honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Ostend film festival. The singer was the master of the very first edition of the film festival in 2007, and then received the first star in the Walk of Fame on the Zeedijk. The singer has been making music for half a century: songs such as “O la la la c’est magnifique” and “Les yeux de ma mère” have now become national heritage.
