American actor Armie Hammer, 36, tells his own version of his sex and cannibals scandal after two years of silence.
The actor’s rising career was interrupted at the beginning of 2021, when several women went public, accusing Hammer of, among other things, rape. The women also said that Hammer sent them messages related to cannibalism.
There was a huge uproar over the incident, which led to Hammer entering rehab in May 2021. No charges were brought against Hammer.
Now the actor commented on his alleged actions in an interview with an American magazine.

Hammer has previously denied allegations of sexual crimes, but he admits that he was emotionally violent towards his former partners.
– I had women in their twenties by my side, because I was a successful actress. They could say yes to things they normally wouldn’t have said yes to. This is unevenly distributed power, he says.
According to him, this behavior was due to the fact that he was sexually abused when he was only 13 years old. The trauma made him interested in violent thoughts.
– What the abuse did to me was that it introduced me to sexuality in a way that was completely out of my control, Hammer reveals.
– That’s why my interest went in the direction where I wanted to be in control sexually, he justifies.

Problems
Just before the uproar, Hammer divorced the TV personality after 10 years of marriage of Elizabeth Chambers with. The two have two children together.
According to Hammer, the divorce and with the uproar the loss of jobs and reputation felt like he could not control the course of his life.
He admits that he went through suicidal thoughts. However, his own children made him hold on to what he still had left.
Due to his sex and substance addictions, Hammer ended up in rehab, with which he wanted to improve his life.
– I take responsibility that I acted wrongly and was selfish. I tried to feel better with the help of other people, and when I got what I wanted, I moved on, the actor describes his actions.
– Today I am a healthier, happier and more balanced person, he summarizes.
