…better and better!
The TM database has been enriched by another milestone: The 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons of the Armenian Bardzragujn chumb can now be called up completely with all game reports and data. The champion was FC Pyunik Yerevan in both seasons. In 2009/10 Henrikh Mkhitaryan was still active at club level in his home country and played his last games in the Armenian league. He scored 11 goals in 10 games to finish fifth, four goals behind champion Artur Kocharyan, who crowned himself as the top scorer at the advanced age of 35 for a footballer.
In the 2010/11 season, the two Pyunik offensive forces Marcos Pizzelli and Gevorg Ghazaryan shared the top scorer with 16 goals each. Ghazaryan then embarked on a long international career, returning to his youth club as captain this summer. With Emmanuel Mbola and Andranik Shahgeldyan, two then 15-year-olds made their professional debuts in the respective seasons.
