In the autumn 2022 collection by ARMEDANGELS, it becomes clearer than ever what the visionary fair fashion pioneer stands for: Courageous innovation, forward-looking messages and a unique, rebellious activism with the passionate mission to really make a difference.
“Smart Rebels” as a consistent continuation of the spring collection 2022 “Heroes and Heroes of Today” is inspired by the 1968 movement: rebellion against grievances and the need for change translated into materials, prints and silhouettes.
Flared legs and seventies-typical prints and graphics, which reflect the ARMEDANGELS message and “scratchiness as a brand” in the form of stylized thistle motifs, play an important role in the Autumn 2022 collection. Rib structures in fine and coarse knit and premium alpaca yarns as well as GRS-certified woolen carded yarns create a recognition value in the strong knit collection.
Updates to graphic rib-knit inlays and fine-knit birdseye jacquards add colorful accents, while striped patterns on ribbed fine and coarse-knitted fabrics form a familiar basis. Among other things, a cape and a double-faced top are provided with the word “Awareness” in an inlaid form.
In addition, more commercial and accessible statements are made, in the form of colored stripe patterns, rib structures and hairy alpaca yarns.
Jerseys and sweats in high-quality materials contribute to a sophisticated look with their unusual and clean designs. Artful artworks are experiencing a revival at ARMEDANGELS and will be increasingly found again in autumn 2022 as placed prints and abstract all-over patterns on tops. In addition, there is a capsue collection, which consists of 50% off-cuts from production. These cuttings are collected and then processed into a new fabric with 50% organic cotton.
In terms of color, brown, rust, a light green for women and a strong, positive “sunset” orange dominate the new season. In the womens collection, a light green pastel shade “Lint” and a warm brown shade “Fudge” provide contrasts and a late summer feeling.
ARMEDANGELS complements its wide range of denims with further exhibited silhouettes and patch pocket details. With these creative workwear fits and progressive material innovations, the product category is once again setting higher and more demanding standards in production. A special feature is a new, sustainable coloration made from clay, authentic worn looks and natural laser finishes, in order to reproduce the entire range of denim competence in washes from clean to worn in.
In addition, ARMEDANGELS is expanding its range with outerwear in autumn 2022 in order to be able to create a complete look: Classics such as the MA-1 Bomber or the M65 Fishtail Parka are cited and given their own design signature. A selected range of products is presented, each consisting of a bomber, a liner vest, long-sleeved liner and a water-repellent parka made of organic cotton.
Through the use of organic cotton, the outerwear products have a high level of breathability and a unique, authentic look that – like denim – the longer it is worn, takes on very individual signs of wear and becomes a mirror of its wearer. The DWR impregnation is completely PFC-free and guarantees a water-repellent function, and the outerwear also impresses with its GRS certification (Global Recycling Standard).
