Swedish Armand Duplantis set a new world record in pole vaulting. ME readings are now recorded in the format 619.

The 22-year-old Duplantis set a new record in the hall races in the Serbian capital Belgard.

The Duplantis also had a previous, one-cent weaker old world record.

The Duplantis easily crossed three previous heights in its first place. After crossing six meters, Duplantis immediately raised the bar to ME readings of 619. He overcame his third and final attempt.

The Swede has been applying for a new ME result for more than two years. In February 2020, he jumped first to 617 and a week later to 618. Since then, the penny improvement has failed a couple of times just fine.

In Tokyo, Duplantis raised itself to become Sweden’s new national hero by jumping into the Olympic victory.

Belgardisas Duplantis was one of a kind. Second place went to Slovenia Robert Renner with a result of 531.
