Arjen Lubach always starts at a different time: ‘Plays tricks on him’

Arjen Lubach starts almost every evening at a slightly different time and that is not convenient for a daily program. According to viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp, that is now playing tricks on him.

For his part, Arjen Lubach has had a somewhat meager viewing figure week, writes viewing figure expert Tina Nijkamp on her analysis channel. On his best evenings, the presenter scores well above the million limit, but came close to 800,000 viewers on one evening this week.

Other times

According to Tina, it doesn’t help that Arjen always starts at a different time. For example, this week at 10:25 PM, 10:00 PM, 10:20 PM, and 10:25 PM. “The evening show with Arjen Lubach again had a lower than average score for him last night: 887 thousand viewers. And place 11 in the top 25. Wow.”

She continues: “Not only the competition, but especially the changing starting times are playing tricks on Arjen. How is this possible?! Is this so bad then? Yes, pretty bad. Viewers like fixed habits and want their favorite program at a fixed time. The News also does not start at 8 p.m. one day and then at 8:07 p.m. the next day.”

VI in the lead

NPO 1 would do well to work on Arjen Lubach’s starting time, says Tina. “It is not without reason that Boulevard starts every day at 6.35 pm and not suddenly at 6.48 pm.”

On to the talk shows: Today Inside was again the winner with 711 thousand viewers (14 percent), slightly lower than usual due to the competition with football. Khalid & Sophie (660 thousand), Op1 (636 thousand) and Jinek (561 thousand) follow at a distance.

I’m leaving on #1

The prime time winner was NPO 1’s Ik Vertrek (1.1 million and 21 percent), followed by Berlin – Ajax with almost 1.1 million viewers (22 percent) on Veronica. This is followed by NPO 1’s Floortjegaat mee (982 thousand and 18 percent).

RTL 4 attracted only 680 thousand viewers (13 percent) with DNA Singers. Tina: “A record low. Also in 20 to 54 years with 13 percent below the average of RTL 4. So very disappointing for Art Rooijakkers. The scores of his comeback program are suffering enormously from the football competition.”
