Argentina’s Diego Cocca will be the new coach of Mexico’s national soccer team.
The 50-year-old should get the team back on track with a view to the 2026 World Cup in their own country. Mexico failed in the group stage at the World Cup in Qatar, after which coach Gerardo Martino resigned.
Cocca had last coached the Mexican top club Tigres, but is now moving on after just five games.
