The NMBS warns its travelers that fewer trains will run on Monday on the bridge day, because the railway company expects fewer passengers. During the autumn holidays, there are also works on the railways in various places, with consequences for the timetable.
On Monday, some P trains (rush hour trains) will not run. Half of the S5 trains Mechelen – Brussels-Schuman – Edingen/Geraardsbergen will also not run. Tuesday is a public holiday and then the trains will run as they would on a Sunday.
Rail infrastructure manager Infrabel works on the tracks at various places during the holidays. That is why, for example, there will be no trains running between Ostend and Bruges for the entire holiday. There are replacement buses.
