The municipality of Zoetermeer is happy with informal caregivers and wants to appreciate their efforts with a one-off financial compensation of 200 euros.

The conditions

If you provide intensive care to a parent, friend, grandmother, neighbor or other loved one in Zoetermeer for more than three months, you are eligible for reimbursement. However, you must be at least 18 years old and provide informal care at least 8 hours per week.

Young people and children

Children and young people aged 8 to 18 who grow up in a family with illness and care can also receive a small compensation. The municipality rewards them with a Bol.com gift card worth 20 euros.
