Here at home the thermostat is set to 18 degrees as standard. I am often outside. Body warmer, wellies, the real glamor life of a columnist. Only the cigar is still missing, so to speak. But because of that crazy outdoor outfit, I’m never cold – not even indoors. When I see how often, especially in the ultra-isolated Vinex castles, the residents stroll through the house in midwinter in their slippers and a T-shirt. While it’s freezing outside!
