Former national football player Arda Turan, who ended his football career last season, went to the green field for a meaningful event at Marmaris District Stadium at 18.00 today.
Arda Turan, who played in Spain’s giant clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for years, as well as Galatasaray and A National Team, played football with the earthquake victims in Marmaris and the Marmaris 1923 football team.
After the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, those who wanted to take a photo with Turan, who came to the district to give morale to the earthquake-affected football players and young people who came to the Marmaris region, formed a stampede. After hundreds of children waited in line to get an autograph from Arda Turan, those who had their jerseys signed and those who took a photo together returned to their homes with happiness and sadness.
While some families complained about the crowd, the children expressed their happiness at seeing Arda Turan. The famous football player who left the stadium accompanied by his guards waved goodbye to his fans and got into the car and left the stadium.
